Why Why do we import edible oil when we make it so much and so many varieties?

Heads you win. Tails I loose. Free market pricing for petrol and diesel.

Its interesting to note increase in international fuel prices are passed on to us..consumers.  In case of reduction consuners dont get relief but government takes the money as excise duty...cess.  

Don't we consumers have rights?
